Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 18 Pro series on September 23, with the upcoming flagships featuring dual 200-megapixel Leica cameras, a new 2nm mobile platform, and an upgraded secondary display on the back.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will debut at 7:00 p.m. China time, the same time in the Philippines. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the phones will launch with HyperOS 4.
Both models will use a Leica camera system with a 200-megapixel main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Xiaomi has confirmed a new 2nm flagship mobile platform but has yet to disclose its official name, despite reports identifying upcoming Qualcomm chips.
The phones also retain the rear display introduced with the previous Pro generation. Xiaomi calls the new version a “versatile rear screen,” which can display tools including timers, water-intake tracking, focus controls, vocabulary exercises, and AI-generated application cards.
Xiaomi is also introducing its M11 display system with bezels measuring 0.99mm. Battery capacity rises to 7,000mAh on the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 8,500mAh on the Pro Max, using the company’s high-silicon battery technology.
Pricing and complete specifications are expected to be announced at the September 23 event.
Xiaomi has not announced Philippine pricing or availability for the Xiaomi 18 Pro series as of September 20. A China launch therefore does not yet indicate that either model will officially be sold in the Philippines.
