XPENG has formally entered the Philippine market with six variants across two models, giving Filipino buyers a new range of battery-electric and range-extended vehicles priced from PHP 1,548,000.
The Chinese automaker launched the L03 SUV coupe and X9 seven-seat MPV at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 25. XPENG Philippines operates as a direct subsidiary of the automaker and is its first such subsidiary in Southeast Asia.
The L03 accounts for four of the six variants. The EV Standard Range costs PHP 1,548,000, followed by the range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) at PHP 1,598,000 and the EV Long Range at PHP 1,698,000. The EV RWD Long Range Ultra tops the range at PHP 2,058,000.
The Standard Range uses a 58.3kWh battery with a claimed WLTP range of up to 445 km. The Long Range increases that to 71.1kWh and up to 520 km, while the better-equipped Long Range Ultra uses the same battery and is rated for up to 480 km.
XPENG is also offering an L03 REEV for buyers who want electric propulsion without relying entirely on charging infrastructure for longer trips. Its 37.2kWh battery provides up to 215 km of electric-only range.
A gasoline engine generates electricity when needed, extending the claimed combined WLTP range to as much as 1,017 km.
The larger X9 starts at PHP 3,858,000 for the Long Range, while the version with the Second Row Premium Seat Package costs PHP 4,058,000. Both use a 110kWh battery and have a claimed WLTP range of up to 615 km
The X9 also has active rear-wheel steering, dual-chamber air suspension, and a powered third row that can fold beneath the floor.
XPENG is pairing its Philippine launch with local after-sales support. X9 buyers get five years of free preventive maintenance and roadside assistance, a five-year vehicle warranty, an eight-year battery and electric-motor warranty, and a 7kW wall charger.
The L03 gets two years of free preventive maintenance, with the same roadside assistance and warranty periods. Battery-electric L03 models include a 7kW wall charger, while the REEV comes with a 3.5kW portable charger.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter through XPENG dealerships in Greenhills, Makati, North EDSA, and Cebu. The company also plans to introduce two more models within six months and expand to eight showrooms across Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao by the end of 2026.
