vivo will start selling the X Fold6 in Europe on October 1, about three months after the book-style foldable launched in China.
The phone goes on sale that day through vivo’s official online store in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the company said in a September 21 announcement. It will also reach selected retail stores in Austria from October 8.
vivo has not announced European pricing. In China, the X Fold6 starts at CNY 7,999 (about PHP 75,000).
An India launch could follow on October 6, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav, who posted the date on X on September 26. He said the Indian model will come in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB versions. vivo has not confirmed an India date.
vivo also has not announced Philippine availability or pricing for the X Fold6. Its predecessor, the X Fold5, went on sale in the Philippines in August 2025 at PHP 109,999, which made it vivo’s first foldable in Southeast Asia.
The global X Fold6, model number V2559, has appeared on certification platforms in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, My Mobile India reported.
The X Fold6 has an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover screen. vivo rates both at up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. The phone runs on the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, a MediaTek chip that vivo says was tailored for the X Fold6.
The main camera uses a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB sensor. vivo pairs it with a 3x periscope telephoto camera and says it is the first ZEISS APO-certified telephoto camera on a foldable.
The X Fold6 also supports vivo’s ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2. This clip-on lens accessory is sold separately and brings the equivalent focal length to 200mm.
vivo lists a 6,900mAh battery for the European model. The Chinese version is listed with a 7,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 40W wireless charging.
The phone is rated IPX8 and IPX9 for water resistance and IP5X for dust resistance. The Prism Black model measures 4.4mm thick unfolded and weighs 228g, while the Horizon Blue model measures 4.8mm and weighs 235g.
The European model ships with OriginOS 7 Fold.
