Meta and EssilorLuxottica are bringing their AI glasses to the Philippines later in 2026, with Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta, and Ray-Ban Meta Optics included in the expansion.
Meta has not announced Philippine pricing, retailers, an exact release date, or the specific frames and generations that will be available here. The Philippine rollout was announced alongside a broader expansion of Meta’s glasses lineup at Connect 2026.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio removes the camera
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is a camera-free pair of smart glasses focused on open-ear audio, calls, and Meta AI. Users can listen to music and podcasts, take calls, and interact with the assistant without the photo and video camera found on other Ray-Ban Meta models.
The glasses weigh 43 grams and come in Clubmaster and Burbank styles, with 23 color and lens combinations. Meta rates the battery for up to 12 hours on a charge, with up to another 48 hours from the charging case.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio starts at USD 349 (about PHP 22,000) and ships October 13 in supported markets.
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 adds 3K video
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) keeps the camera but moves the hardware into a slimmer frame. It also adds a customizable action button for Meta AI and increases rated battery life to nine hours, one hour longer than Gen 2.
The glasses have a 12-megapixel camera that records 3K Ultra HD video and a six-microphone array. Meta says the microphone system cuts more than 90% of background noise during calls and voice commands.
Gen 3 comes in Aviator, Zena, and Wayfarer styles with 27 color and lens combinations. It starts at USD 449 (about PHP 28,000) in supported markets.
Meta has not specifically said whether Ray-Ban Meta Audio or Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) will be among the models sold in the Philippines.
Meta Glasses gets more frames and lower prices
Meta also expanded its separate Meta Glasses line with Capri and Nova styles, along with special-edition designs and more customization options.
The LISA collection includes Meta Adventurer and Meta Capri versions starting at USD 399 (about PHP 25,000). Meta also introduced a black Meta Adventurer with gray lenses and a plug-in charging case starting at USD 249 (about PHP 16,000). That model goes on sale October 23 in countries where Meta Glasses are already available.
Meta Glasses itself was not named in the list of products scheduled for the Philippine expansion. Meta specifically identified Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta, and Ray-Ban Meta Optics for the country.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses have appeared locally before. In 2024, Philippine distributor House of Branded Lifestyle Inc. displayed the second-generation glasses at SM Makati but clarified that they were not yet commercially available in the country.
