Huawei has opened Philippine reservations for the Watch GT 7 series ahead of its local release in October.
Customers can place a PHP 500 deposit through the Huawei Online Store from September 25 to October 1. Huawei is offering PHP 6,000 off when buyers complete their purchase, although the company has not yet announced local retail prices for the watches.
The lineup consists of the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro. Huawei’s Philippine website already lists both models, including their local specifications.
The standard Watch GT 7 comes in 46mm and 41mm sizes. The larger version has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, while the 41mm model uses a 1.32-inch panel. Both have a 466 × 466 resolution and a claimed peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Huawei rates the 46mm model for up to 21 days of light use.
Huawei has also added new cycling and skiing modes, a Physical Readiness score based on health and activity data, and an EasyCross strap design on compatible fluoroelastomer versions. The watches support more than 100 workout modes.
The Watch GT 7 Pro uses a titanium alloy case and a 1.47-inch AMOLED display. It adds an ECG sensor and depth sensor, along with support for freediving to depths of up to 40 meters. Huawei rates it at 5 ATM and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
Both models support Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. Huawei’s specifications also list Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual-band satellite positioning.
After the deposit period, Huawei plans to offer a combined PHP 5,500 early-bird discount through its online store from October 2 to October 31. Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop buyers can also get PHP 4,000 off from October 2 to October 10.
Huawei has not yet disclosed the Philippine prices of the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro.
