HONOR has introduced the X9e Pro, a new X-series smartphone built around an 11,000mAh battery and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. The phone is now listed on HONOR’s global product lineup following its initial reveal in Malaysia.
The 11,000mAh figure is the battery’s typical capacity, while HONOR lists its rated capacity at 10,510mAh. The X9e Pro supports 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and up to 27W wired reverse charging for powering other devices. HONOR says the battery is its largest yet in a smartphone.
That is a substantial increase over the HONOR X9d currently listed in the Philippines, which uses an 8,300mAh battery with 66W charging. The X9e Pro also moves from the X9d’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 to the newer Snapdragon 6 Gen 5.
Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 in May. The company says the platform delivers up to 21% better GPU performance than the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in its reference-device testing. On the X9e Pro, the chip is paired with 8GB of physical RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage, with HONOR RAM Turbo providing additional virtual memory.
The phone has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2788 × 1280 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. HONOR lists up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness under specific full-screen video conditions. A 108-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization sits on the back.
Durability remains another focus of the X series. HONOR says the X9e Pro can withstand drops from up to three meters under its laboratory conditions, compared with 2.5 meters for the X9d. It also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Philippine pricing and availability have not been announced.
