Samsung has raised the suggested retail prices (SRPs) of most of its smartphones in the Philippines, with its online store listing higher prices for the Galaxy S26 series and several Galaxy A models as of October 2.

The Galaxy S26 now starts at PHP 68,990, up PHP 10,000 from launch. Most Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra configurations also cost PHP 10,000 more, while the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra rose PHP 17,000 to PHP 138,990. Across the series, the increases range from roughly 10% to 17%.

The Galaxy A57 5G 12GB/512GB is now PHP 52,190, up PHP 14,200 or 37%, while its 8GB/128GB model rose PHP 4,300 to PHP 33,290. The Galaxy A37 5G now costs PHP 30,790 for 8GB/128GB and PHP 33,990 for 8GB/256GB, up from PHP 25,990 and PHP 27,990. The Galaxy A27 5G 8GB/256GB also rose 32% to PHP 29,090.

Additionally, the Galaxy A07 LTE 4GB/64GB now costs PHP 10,290, nearly double its PHP 5,290 launch SRP in May 2025. The Galaxy A17 5G 8GB/256GB rose from PHP 14,690 to PHP 26,190, according to the website.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, and Galaxy S26 FE remain at their launch SRPs.

Samsung hasn’t officially announced or explained the local changes.

But companies are known to heavily discount its smartphones long after their launches, especially over at e-commerce sites like Shopee and Lazada. The observed price changes should mainly affect their sticker prices, and ongoing promotions may even subsidize the increase.

Samsung raised Galaxy S26 prices in South Korea and the US on October 1, according to Yonhap News Agency. The media outlet linked the South Korean increase to rising memory chip costs, but Samsung has not officially confirmed that motive.

In a similar move, Apple raised the Philippine prices of its older iPhones in September after launching the iPhone 18 Pro series, with the iPhone 17 256GB going from PHP 57,990 to PHP 69,990. POCO also raised local prices in June, with the POCO X8 Pro Max going from PHP 25,999 to PHP 36,999.
