itel has unveiled the A300+, an entry-level phone with a 2.01-inch interactive rear screen, and has teased a Philippine launch for October 6, based on the brand’s Facebook post.
The rear screen sits next to the camera and can show selfie previews from the main camera, notifications, music controls, and custom clocks or images. The A300+ is the company’s first dual-screen phone in its price range.
The phone has a 6.78-inch HD+ main display with a 720 x 1576 resolution. It uses a MediaTek G81 processor and runs Android 16 (Go edition), with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The battery is 7,000mAh, and itel’s global spec page lists an 18W charger. The global product page details that the new handset supports up to 22.5W fast charging.
Memory options on itel’s global page range from 64GB storage with 8GB RAM to 128GB storage with 18GB RAM. Those figures include extended RAM, so physical memory runs from 3GB to 6GB.
itel says the A300+ has IP65 dust and water resistance, meets military-grade durability standards, and supports satellite messaging for sending text when cellular networks are unavailable.
