vivo has launched the V80 Lite in the Philippines, putting a 10,000mAh battery into a 5G phone that starts at PHP 24,999.
The Philippine e-store lists the V80 Lite at PHP 24,999 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 6GB+256GB version costs PHP 27,999. It comes in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black.
The 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery uses fourth-generation silicon-anode technology and supports 44W charging. vivo says it should retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,400 charging cycles, which the company equates to roughly seven years under its laboratory usage model.
That battery is considerably larger than the 6,500mAh unit in last year’s Philippine V60 Lite 5G, although charging drops from 90W to 44W. The V80 Lite is also 8.59mm thick and weighs 224g, compared with 7.59mm and 194g for the V60 Lite 5G.
Up front is a 6.83-inch 2800 × 1260 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 2,000 nits of high-brightness mode output. The phone uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e processor and UFS 3.1 storage, and runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The rear camera system combines a 50-megapixel Sony main camera with a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor, while a 32-megapixel camera sits on the front. Compared with the V60 Lite 5G, that means the V80 Lite drops the previous model’s 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
The V80 Lite carries IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings and has an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual-SIM 5G, and USB-C connectivity. Its battery can also reverse-charge other USB-C devices.
Preorders run from October 4 through October 16 at vivo stores and the company’s online channels.
vivo is offering a PHP 1,000 preorder discount, limited-edition vivo Buds Air3, a four-year battery warranty, vivo Silver Membership benefits, and six months of 100GB Google One storage. Home Credit purchases can receive another PHP 500 discount with 0% interest through October 31 using the HCV80LITE voucher code.
