Smart Communications and TNT have launched LiveSmart, a new app combining load purchases, Smart Postpaid bill payments, exclusive promos, and rewards, including 5% cashback and limited-time access to the telco’s AI.Smart service.
The app became available on Google Play and Apple’s App Store on September 18. Smart says LiveSmart can also be used by subscribers of other mobile networks, although some of its launch perks are specifically for Smart and TNT customers. Google’s Play Store separately lists LiveSmart alongside Smart’s existing app, meaning this is a new app rather than simply a renamed version of the current Smart app.
Smart and TNT subscribers can receive 5% cashback when purchasing load or paying a Smart Postpaid bill through LiveSmart. The app also carries exclusive promo pricing, including Smart Prepaid’s Power All 109 and TNT’s Saya All 109 for PHP 105 each.
One of the more unusual launch perks is access to AI.Smart, Smart’s multi-model AI workspace. According to the company’s launch materials, the service brings together AWS Nova, ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Thinking Machines. Users can tap the AI.Smart banner in LiveSmart and register using a Smart or TNT number to claim free credits.
Those credits can be used for tasks including generating images, making presentations, drafting documents and spreadsheets, and assisting with schoolwork or content creation. Smart separately said users creating an AI.Smart account from September 18 to 24 can receive free credits, with the offer covering Smart Prepaid, TNT, Smart Postpaid, Smart Infinity, and Smart Home WiFi subscribers.
The free AI offer is promotional rather than unlimited access; Smart’s LiveSmart launch announcement does not specify how many complimentary credits each user receives. The company says additional deals and benefits from lifestyle partners are also planned as LiveSmart expands.
